Antonio Aprile

Antonio Aprile was born in Milano, Italy, in 1995. He received Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (with honors) in Electronic Engineering from University of Pavia in 2017 and 2019, respectively. From 2019 to 2022 he was a Ph.D. candidate at the Integrated MicroSystems and Sensors (IMS²) laboratory of the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at the same institution, where he is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
His research focuses on the design and characterization of smart temperature and current sensors, high-performance data converters, biosensor interface circuits, integrated drivers for audio and lighting applications, and power management systems. Dr. Aprile was Guest Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Part II: Express Briefs (TCAS-II) for the Special Issue on the 2023 ISICAS and for the Special Section on APCCAS 2023. He was a member of the organizing committee of the IEEE PRIME Conference in 2022, 2023, and 2025. He is an IEEE member and CAS member since 2021; he joined the SSCS and the IMS in 2024 and 2026, respectively. 
Dr. Aprile has authored or co-authored 35 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and conference proceedings. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Part II: Express Briefs (TCAS-II) for the 2026-2028 term.
